Transportation has always been important to me and from the age of 16, I wanted to be mobile under my own steam, starting with a Vespa scooter followed by learning to drive in my parents’ Mini.
My first car was a 1939 Austin 10 Cambridge, the car I loved so much that if I was out in it and it rained, I’d put it in the garage when I got home and using a chamois, I’d dry i off before shutting the door no matter what time of night it was. That was followed by a yellow Triumph Herald and a Lagoon Blue Mark 3 Ford Cortina.
There have been quite a few cars in between, but my S-Type Jaguar and the A.C. Cobra have to be my favourites.
